Situated at the foot of Harp Hill in Battledown, The Hewlett is a bespoke pub which has built up an excellent reputation for local, seasonal and cooked to order food that regularly changes.

Great for a light lunch, night out or just drinks we have specials through the week, including "Wednesday Rump Night" and gorgeous country style Sunday roasts.

Not only is the Hewlett already a great Pub but I wanted to let all KAB members know that as a family we've used their Outside Catering a good few times now.

Russ - the Hewletts owner - has worked with the Missus and the Mother in law to create fantasic, delicious and very reasonable menu's (with an agreed price per head and you get exactly what you want) for a number of family get togethers over the last year or so.
They always 'wow' the crowd we're feeding with their attentio ...

I was really impressed! The contempary style inside was really nice but still manages to retain a friendly pub atmosphere. The food was not only presented beautifully but tasted nice too with everything cooked to perfection. Will definately be going back again!

Our first visit to the Hewlett and it certainly will not be our last.
Lovely menu to choose from and the meals where beautifully presented..I chose the steak which was done to perfection!!! A little gem hidden away, but now I know were you are!!

Have eaten here quite a few times now,i love my steaks and the Hewlett never disapoints....Also great for a quiet drink with the mrs or even someone elses.......
